Senior Accountant & Financial Analyst

A company specializing in software development, enterprise systems, automation, and artificial intelligence is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant & Financial Analyst with strong accounting, financial analysis, and planning skills The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports and forecasts, and providing data-driven insights to support management and strategic decision-making
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1- Manage accounting operations and financial records, ensuring accurate transactions in both USD and SYP
2- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
3- Develop financial budgets and forecasts, and analyze variances between actual and planned performance
4- Analyze revenues, operating costs, and project profitability, providing recommendations to improve financial performance
5- Develop financial models and conduct Return on Investment (ROI), break-even, and payback period analyses
6- Prepare financial reports and performance dashboards, presenting findings and recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors
7- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash accounts and financial transfers, and ensure proper documentation of transactions
8- Coordinate with the HR Department on payroll preparation, workforce cost analysis, and financial workforce planning
9- Develop financial scenarios and forecasts to support business expansion, recruitment, and investment decisions
10- Utilize AI tools to support financial analysis and reporting while ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all data and outputs
Qualifications & Experience:
1- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2- Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and monthly and annual closing
3- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
4- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, financial modeling, and dashboards
5- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Al-Ameen, Odoo, QuickBooks, or Xero
6- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting principles
7- Practical experience using AI tools to support financial analysis and reporting
8- Fluency in Arabic and strong professional English communication skills, both written and spoken
9- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present financial findings and recommendations to senior management
10- Ability to work independently and take full professional responsibility for the accuracy of financial information and reports
Preferred Qualifications:
1- Professional certification or progress toward CMA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA
2- Experience with Power BI or Power Query
3- Experience managing multi-currency or multi-entity accounts
4- Previous experience in technology or service-based companies
