About this course
The AI Engineering with Claude Nanodegree program prepares developers to build and ship production-grade AI agent systems using Claude, the Claude Agent SDK, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Claude Code. Across four project-based courses, you’ll learn to engineer the harness that runs agents in production: designing agent architectures and stop-reason loops, governing MCP tools with scoped configuration, implementing structured outputs and evaluation frameworks, and building observability so silent failures surface before customers do. Portfolio projects are grounded in real industry scenarios in insurance, retail, financial services, and manufacturing, including an MCP-powered “Agentic Analyst” (PriceScout) and an enterprise multi-agent code-review orchestrator.
