About this course

This undergraduate seminar examines the science of triathlons and sports from a molecular and chemical–biological perspective. Students use their own bodies as case studies to observe how exercise affects physiological systems, recording observations in a training journal. Over the term, the class maintains a physical fitness program to improve overall fitness, culminating in participation in a mini-triathlon.
